Cinestar Artist Film Project

CineStar is a not-for-profit artist run organisation based in Cornwall, dedicated to supporting creative work with film through education and technical support. Joanna Mayes is co-founder and lead artist with Jacqui Knight. We are currently setting up experimental 16mm workshops in order to support ourselves and others in being able to continue to make film in an increasingly challenging environment. Through making use of DIY processing and skill sharing we aim to continue to enjoy exploring the world through film.  Cinestar is currently presenting a series of screenings and showings from our recent Golow Gas Heritage Film Project at the Cornwall Film Festival.
