Remapping St Ives Project: Creative Production and Direction (in association with Shallal Dance Theatre)

The Remapping St Ives Project is designed to highlight the difficulties that people with mobility issues have in accessing the town, as well as celebrating the places, people and organisations that support those with limited mobility who wish to enjoy St Ives.
This project was initiated by Joanna Mayes, a resident of St Ives, after having noticed how difficult it was to get around the town with her daughter in a pushchair. After a couple of years (and a bit more sleep), Jo began to talk about the project idea with potential partners and this is the start. More info and details to follow, with exciting developments in the pipeline.......
Jo Mayes is now working in partnership with Shallal Dance Theatre Company and together we have successfully applied for funding to extend the project. Thanks for continuing support from project partners Disability Cornwall, Cornwall Rolling Ramblers. Thanks also for support from St Ives mayor and deputy mayor, along with other members of the Town Council.
